The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph underscores its connection to Paris with numerous elements that pay homage to the City of Lights. The graphic Clous de Paris motif on the elegant green dial is inspired by the geometric design of Parisian cobblestone streets and extends to the oscillating weight. The reticle is engraved in French with “Académie des Sciences de Paris” and “Chronographe Nicolas Rieussec,” commemorating the Academy’s validation of Rieussec’s invention in 1821. The strap lining is also embellished with a map of Paris from 1821. The interchangeable green calfskin strap was specially designed by Montblanc’s artistic director, Marco Tomasetta, who drew inspiration for its pointed shape from the Maison’s writing instruments. The watch features a 43 mm stainless steel case and is powered by Montblanc’s MB R200 monopusher chronograph movement.
