The Montblanc Star Legacy Moonphase Limited Edition, limited to 1,786 pieces, pays homage to Jacques Balmat, the first person to reach the summit of Mont Blanc in 1786. The watch features a burgundy dial with a glacier motif and sfumato effect around the edge, a filet sauté, rose gold-plated hands and numerals, and a Montblanc emblem on the counterweight of the seconds hand. The highly sought-after moonphase complication at 6 o'clock displays the phases of the moon with an elegant rose gold-plated moon and stars against a blue background, surrounded by a circular date display. The model is powered by the MB 24.31 automatic movement and features a 42 mm stainless steel case with an open case back revealing the movement. It is completed with an interchangeable calfskin strap embossed with alligator leather and featuring a vertical sfumato effect.
