Since its launch in 1924, Montblanc's Meisterstück has been widely regarded as the quintessential fine writing instrument, symbolising refined taste and a bold extension of oneself. On the occasion of Meisterstück’s 100th anniversary, Montblanc strengthens its existing Meisterstück Calligraphy program with a Limited Edition dedicated to “Inspire Calligraphy”, the most artistic form of writing. This Limited Edition is made from solid Au750 white gold and features a new calligraphy nib and special craftsmanship techniques. The Italic nib proudly displays the number "100", along with the years "1924" and "2024", and is set with a sapphire. The cap and barrel design is a tribute to the historical link between quills, writing and aesthetics. They are embellished with hand-crafted lacquer inlays in a rich palette of blue tones, enhanced by marquetry inlays cut from genuine feathers and artfully inserted by hand. The centenary cap rings also feature the years "1924“ and "2024“. Crowning the writing instrument, tiny feather barbs are interlaced and trimmed into the shape of the Montblanc emblem which is placed under a dome of rock crystal.
